#shopsmallSaturday: The Sock + The Bomber & some Marc

image.jpg
December calls for some creativity across all boards. Tis the season!

I attended an exhibition for local brands in my native area for #shopsmallsaturday at my second favorite place in world, El Taller Café. It's a little gem on our main street that attracts the cities coolest crowd and intellectuals alike. Why wouldn't it be my jam right? Well, needless to say, the occasion required my most eclectic and warming attitude (weather channel app read 30 degrees). Exposed socks can either be perceived as really cool or really corny. In my world, both mean the same. So i’m an advocate of pulling them up and over everything, especially during 30 degree weather and when you have a printed tee shirt that may be taking all the shine. These babies have been with me through a few tough winters and never fail to keep my toes and my Lucite booties all set.  Camel skinnies are my denim alternative and make for my kind of neutral.

I tossed on a Marc x Marc Jacobs Cambridge tee I picked up at Saks for $40 during the seasonal sale, and danced at the idea of pairing it with my go-to cashmere socks. Putting these elements together may not have been natural but tis the season for the making it happen bug.
