Like lé ole times….
I won't go into a reminiscent state because there's too much to look forward to, thank you #ss16 for that!
So there's three times a year my energy, admiration and attention is on full effect Fashion Week, Christmas and Fashion Week. I hit my fashion home, none the less, for my fix of fresh perspective, colorful public transportation and street style. Tons and tons of street style. I had an itinerary of bold names and independent exhibitions, ate good ole city food an revisited some flowers from my former garden. Far from over, here's how fantastic my new season has been. Let the games begin...
So last season when I stumbled upon Jerome 5:31's footwear shot, I fell in love. Head over heels, blinded with passion; butterflies in the tummy - love. The thought of anyone throwing texture, a dessert color scheme with embellishments only fit for a city queen, on a cut-out heel filled my heart. This season I made it my business to gain access to this exhibition to witness this magic in the flesh.
I'm dawning Mr. Jerome the Lisa Frank of my adulthood. #youhearditherefirst
My second stop was catching my breathe at PR babes, The Wood & Co. I not only indulged in some divine lemonade but was single-handedly brought back to life by a makeup artist from Miracle Skin Transformer. Girl literally transformed a miracle on my dry, traveled face. Their Treat & Conceal concealer lasted me well into the evening.
Then, there was Lulu's Style Studio. Where you get to snap pics, shmooze & celebrate affordable fashion with all the coolest chicks on the #streetstyle scene. I met LA fashion blogger & beautiful spirited, Leah Ho of LipstickCatwalk…aka #tfffrends
In light of Friyay and the official #daytwo, I took to Brooklyn for a breakfast of champions at Café Ghia. Pleaase, oh please, get the waffles & cremé.
Yup, I wanted to have some fun. After all, it is the occasion. For #daytwo, I wanted my ensemble to read fearless, practical and happy. So I pulled out my pastel pretty's and my favorite tee, took this day by storm.
My attitude caught me a new friend…Bevin of Hole In Jean Pocket sported quite the green jumpsuit that only queen could pull off. You go girl!
& then, there's those moments that bring you right into consciousness. Mama June & shared a selfie. #nowordsrequired
After my star-struck high came down, I shimmied over to Gotham Hall for Style Fashion Week's Control Sector presentation. I met with my one of my routine gemmy's there, designer & founder of arm candy, Fancy'd.
To say the least, girlfriend had fun….Runway show pics are en route. stay tuned! Happy Fashion Week!!
