Things Can Go Both Ways

There's two sides to every story.

Explore the contrary sometimes. I did. As I went from sassy strutting boot to workbook in a jiffy. How so you might ask? How would you go from such an extreme to the other. Easy, because you can. I'm avid believer of the glamourous power of the t-shirt. We've talked about this. Anyway, I'm consistently conflicted with the kind of girl I want to walk out being. Shoot, most of times I really just want to be both. The effortlessly posh, go-getting, strutting down any street with the perfect chunky heeled boot kind of gal. On given days, i'm ok with channeling my inner Jenny From The Block in my construction boots and denim jacket, especially pony hair printed ones. In saying so, I wanted to show off both in free form, just how both spirit animals can live in the same moment…to be less theatrical, same ensemble.

The polish to any look lies in the smallest elements. I ran to an H&M in downtown Boston a month ago to see what A. Wang was throwing the lions  and picked up this sweet matte black whistle double ring, that only a political graphic tee and plaid skirt combo could come along for the ride for. Threw some jewels on there I picked up at the F21 Pre-Black Friday Sale and this entire look was ready to go in any direction.
